| Rescues I went to my local greenhouse today, and I got the dendrobium I mentioned before, and a cattleya. Both are not in great shape, but have potential.
I unpotted the dendrobium, and it had no viable roots left, and the bottom of the last cane was black and getting soft. But, it did have a keiki on it, so I separated the keiki from momma, and potted it up. It is Den. 'Carmela'.
The cattleya did not have very many viable roots. It has new growths, and from those new growths are new and healthy roots. I trimmed what I could of the dead roots, and gave it fresh medium. It is a Pot. Hawaiian Charisma 'Hawaii'.
I'll try and post some pics of them tommorow. I would appreciate any advice on how to nurse these guys back to health.
