Those look like very nice blooms - something to look forward to.
The fragrance on mine is VERY STRONG. You can smell if from 20 feet away.
My guess for telling someone what they need to do to promote flowering - same as orchids - MORE LIGHT. As much light as you can possibly give them. Mine is in the south window light and the warmest part of my house - it loves it there.
