According ot Monocot's Checklist, there's no such thing as Masdevallia measuresiana but it does have an invalid listing for Masdevallia x measuresiana. Note the difference, the latter has an "X" indicating a natural hybrid, but as I said, this is an invalid name. I looked on the Pleuothallid website, I used to judge with the woman who maintains that site, and found a reference to Masdevallia Measuresiana (M. amabilis x M. tovarensis). Here's the reference with a picture.

I'd bet there's a good chance your's is the hybrid and that someone was lazy with the tag. It sounds like it is growing well for you so it may not be that long before you can post a pic.
