In regards to updating your profile, click the users settings at the top of the page and then click update profile - if you put "New York" or some such verbiage in here everyone will know where you live in future posts - thanks!
Hopefully someone will weigh in concerning the large white spot on the dendrobium leaf you posted - looks to me like a chemical burn - sometimes associated with a combination of water/spray (chemical) and interaction with strong sunshine. The location you described actually sounds pretty good. When you get your camera going try again to post a pic of your plant. Neem oil and bright sunlight will burn (as I've read in previous posts) - just reread some of your previous post. You might do a search on this and read the associated posts. Good luck. mike
