wow, plant's been blooming since april? good job.
they don't bloom forever; some phals last longer than others, depends on the grex. they usually lose their flowers in the order in which they opened up. or not.

if the plant has good thick green leaves and isn't getting yellow or wilty, then you're doing fine. keep on caring for it and it may throw up another spike over the winter; cooler temps are what prompt phals to set spikes. that said, it could be anywhere from 90 to 120 days before you see flowers once a spike starts; again, it depends on the plant.
