Sounds more like mealy bugs or perhaps white flys. Perhaps you can post a picture. I've been using worm tea since early spring, which works quite well and has kept away all the pests. However, if you need something right away, try the Safer's Soap or the Bayer's Rose in the spray bottle. Do this early in the day and out of the sunlight. Either of these products are found readily at most garden and home improvement stores.
