Cynthia - I wasn't happy to repot the Cyc but since we suspect that there is something wrong with the coir it was in, a repot was necessary.
I'll up the watering of this plant until it goes dormant. I do not believe that is what is causing the browning of the leaves.
The plants that have been in the coir all seem to be 'poisoned' for lack of a better way of putting it. Once out of the coir (at least for the Den and Paph) the plants pick up right away. I'm hoping the same is true for the Cyc.
