| Guys who received an orchid
Hey guys, I recently received an orchid as a gift from my gf and i have no idea how to take care of it which is why i joined this forum to get more information. I dont want it to die on me because one, it is a very beautiful plant, and 2 my gf will probably get angry if it dies haha. Anyway after researching i did find a few hintful tips. I currently have a Dendrobium, its white with purple dots. The one question i had was that on the base of the plant there is this thing that looks like a finger. Its sort of like a root but its green in color, looks sort of waxy and is extending out of the pot, i would like to know what that if anyone can answer that. Hopefully i will find many useful tips.
