| Hi Patrick,
What I normally do is copy the name and search it via google, then after it searches the Web - I select the "image" link above the google search box. If nothing appears for the entire name, then I break the name up and do the search again.
In the case of Phal. (Brother Spot x Brother Purple) x Phal Brother Sara Gold - I couldn't get a hit on the entire name, so I searched by "Phal. (Brother Spot x Brother Purple)" and got a number of hits, then by "Phal Brother Sara Gold" and got even more hits.
You will run in to a lot of the image links being broken. But every so often you luck out and find a Web site that will chat about your particular Phal.
In this Phal case the colors are so different that I can only imagine what it will look like.
Others probably have better advice, but that's what I do. Your question got me thinking and don't mean to hijack this thread but here's my other questions:
- Is the first name the dominant influence on the plant/Flower? or does it even matter?
- What's with all the 'brother' in the names - does that indicate anything specific? or did a bunch of monks develop these?
