In honor of Vivienne's divorce today and although I didn't know that at the time when I purchased this
, here's my new phal that I couldn't resist. I felt a little guilty about buying it but I got over it quickly....and especially knowing that it was to celebrate a friend's new beginning!
This was planted in soaking wet sphag...yikes! I immediately repotted it in a new mix I just started using, Shultz. I love the stuff, I wish I had known how great it was earlier on but glad I finally found out about it. The bark is much smaller than what I was using, a lot of shaved chips, a great more charcoal added and it retains the moisture longer than what I was using prior. I added a little less than 1/4 the total amount of perlite to the mix and the plants love it.
All the tag said was Wedding Promenade. I love these freckled phals.
