G_Thumbs: Welcome, nice to see someone new from the Carolinas. Sounds like you are off to a great start. I'm still pretty new at all of this too, but if your 'chids with only 2-3 roots need some new roots before planting, there's a method called Sphag and Bag that's kind of loke an Orchid ICU to help them grow roots and get there strength back. I know there's info on this technique somewhere on this forum and elsewhere on the web, maybe another member can help with a link. If you have them, post pics of your 'chids. BTW, where in Western NC are you? My folks have some land up in Little Switzerland and I went to College at ASU in Boone many, many years ago. Keep up the good work. Lisa
