Pseudo bulbs are generally on plants such as Cymbidiums, Coelogyne, iwangaara and Odontoglossums etc. They are the bulbous thingies at the base of the leaves.
It is NOT a true bulb as such because it sits above ground, and is a swelling containing food, nutrients and water for the leaves and flowers, hence the term "pseudo bulb". True bulbs live underground.
