I saw this very pretty Phalaenopsis at the store today. It had one purple flower which was an unusually dark shade of purple. The leaves looked dehydrated and one top leaf was starting to curl in. I bargained it down to $5.00 and brought it home.

My question is this. Can the Phal be revived or is it already too late? It's planted in moss instead of bark but at this point, it might be too much to move it to new planting medium. I have soaked it for an hour in a weak plantfood / superthrive mixture since the planting medium was totally dried out.

Am I wasting my time or is there anything else that I can do?
