| Boy, do I ever agree with Mayres. If its a no name orchid and there is no attatchment to it then "shovel prune it". (dump it out). Learn from your expierence, find another orchid you like and enjoy it. I just picked up a phrag today for $10. It has one flower open, two to open and another spike coming up.
