When I think of "mini-Catts" I think of things like Slc. Dream Catcher, Bright Angel, Jungle Elf, Circle of Life, Sl Psyche, Mini Purple, etc., etc. Most of these have fully mature growths only about 4-6 inches from rhizome to leaf tip.

Some of the species used in mini-Catt breeding are things like:
Sophronites coccinea
Sophronites cernua
Cattleya acclandae
Cattleya walkeriana
Laelia dayana
Laelia pumila

Maybe the walkeriana hybrid might be a mini.....
