Hmmm...I did a little digging. First of all I found that Oncidium fuscatum, one of the species that had its name changed thus triggering the movement of many Colmanaras to Odontocidium, is one of the grandparents of Wild Willie. I also found that Wild Willie is a fairly new cross, having been registered only 3 years ago in 2004. I suspect that Wild Willie was not registered until after the document listing the name changes was published.

On a different note, the name amuses me greatly. We should add it to that thread we had a while back on amusing orchid names.
