We have some space in our backyard where I was thinking of putting a 'structure' (for lack of the right word) for my orchids. I have an image in my mind of slatted or criss-crossed wood for the roof so air, light and rain can get in AND I can hang plants from it. The front would be open except near the top where I would bring some of the slatted area down 1/4 to 1/3 of the way because it faces west. The sides would be open or have the same slatted wood on them.
Does this sound like it would work? My husband's itching to do this for me so I want to get him on it before he finds some other project to keep him busy
Any other ideas? Thanks for any input. Sue
