I was just looking through these old posts and ran across this thread, though I'd add my $.02.
I think that the easiest way to add photos from a website is by using the UBB tag (maybe you covered this in another thread). It's the easiest to remember and fastest to type, for me.
It goes like this:
[img]paste the URL of the image here
[/img]
So, for example, [img*]http://www.website.com/picture.jpg[/img]
*I added the "*" to the tag so that this would appear as code and not try to display a photo
, don't put it in when you want to post a photo!
