Brook, thanks for your advice and encouragement. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know! I've been questioning more and more as I realize all the variables that go into the decision-making for what's best according to the conditions I have to offer my orchids and what I need to substitute because of lack of conditions....if that makes sense! I've decided to switch to a smaller bark and add sphag. for my large oncs, phals and brassia. I believe this will create the environment they need......I think
