that all depends on what type of orchid you're talking about, then about the particular genetics of the plant in question. if you're asking whether new buds will grow from the empty spots where old flowers have fallen off, the answer is no. if you're asking if new buds will grow on the END of a spike where flowers have never grown, then it depends on the genus of the plant. can you be more specific?
