I found a beautiful orchid at Home Depot. It was yellow with purple spots and a magenta and orange center area. I was hesitating on buying it because of the leaves, but the beauty won me over. Anyways, the leaves appeared to have a few bug bites (but I re-potted the orchid and saw no bugs). There is also some white stuff (looks like chalk) on the leaves, and I've seen it on many orchids, but I'd just like to know what it is. One of the leaves was bent down which split it through the middle (though it's still holding on). Should I pull that leaf off? Thanks.
