Sea Sun,

I don't think the plant pic you posted is a Cymbidium. Cymbidiums have fans of 6-8+ long, narrow, grassy, leaves fanning out from a fairly round-ish pseudobulb. In our pic I also see what looks like basal sheaths and epiphytic roots, neither of which are found on Cymbidiums. The plant, at least what I can see of it in the pic, looks like a Cattleya-type plant.

Does it have a tag? If so what does the tag say?
Can you possibly post a pic of the whole plant?

If I'm right and it is a Cattleya-type orchid, you do not have a keiki. You just have normal new growth. Do not remove it.
