Kevin- I'm thinking about mounting all my dens on the trees later, they are all top-heavy and gets knocked over plenty enough times for me to start to seriously consider that..
Sandra- bud in this case is a bud that grows out of the base of the rhisomes, from a bud eye, it's a new growth. First they grow kind of pararel to the medium, that becomes a rhisome as the plant grows upward. ( I'm really convinced that that's why they grow pararell in the beginning )

Ellen- I soak it for at least half an hour every morning..
BillC- I'm sure you'll have no problem doing that..I was dreading it at first but it turned out pretty good..I think this only happens once
