| i nearly killed 2 phals in SH before i yanked 'em out; one's still in the bag w/sphag. OTOH, my phrag in SH is blooming at the moment with lots of pups, and a sickly sale table sharry baby only picked up after i put it in SH. it's gotten all nice and fat and is growing a new pbulb.
i use aired off tap water with the MSU fert for tap water; about once a month i dump a bunch of plain water thru the pots before topping off with the fertilizer solution. there is some debate about the pH in the reservoir; some folks think it's an issue, others, not. it's probably a YMMV type thing.
oh, also have an AV in SH in a starbucks frap cup. it seems very happy. |
