Adrian -- I arrived there at 11:30 and didn't leave until 1pm or so! I'm sure I 'bumped' into you since the place was rather small.
Two of the orchids I bought I watered with spring/drinking water I always have in the car. Their potting medium was a bit dry and was rather thirsty.
Plus, I knew they were going to be in the warm car for while. We went to have lunch before going home, an hour or so drive.
Oh, a $100 for all you can carry, I can do that easily!
However, I haven't heard of it.
Did you get Gold Country Orchids' website address or business address/phone? If so, will you please pm me with the info? If they are near Sacramento, I just might visit them, too, when I visit my brother.
fred -- The Disas are in sphag. moss. and sitting in a pan of water. I just put two outside and hope they survive. The other two are in my orchid room.
