I am in 100% agreement with Kevin - cut it off/out. If you don't it will spread down the leaf and then attack the crown of the plant - I know from personal experience that this is what happens - you DON'T want that! I had another similar scenerio - I cut off half the leaf with the black spot and the remainder of the leaf browned and fell off - but the rest of the plant remained healthy! Good luck - mike
