Your post made me chuckle. "Very cold" is a relative term. I used to live in the US in the state of Michigan. Usually in January it never gets above freezing. Sometimes, as I was scraping the ice off my car windshield in the morning, my breath would freeze onto my moustache. Brrrrrrrrr......
