Hi Gladys...the one with purple looking all over , if I'm not mistaken..is from too much light . If the leaves feel leathery rough and dry with purple pigment all over, it's the same as one of mine that had been exposed to too much light too soon when it was quite weak to begin with ( the sun isn't shining in the same spot all of the sudden )
. This one suffered because it was in direct sun almost until 1pm for the whole week !!
I moved it a few weeks ago and it's almost back to normal green..but gotta say I think the strong sun helped it set the bud ...finally.
I won't do this intensionally, though.
