Day lilies are beautiful but perennial day lilies do not grow in Florida. The hotter shorter winter prevents the dormant period from being sufficient to refresh the plant and they disappear in a year or two.

Evergreen day lilies that do not go dormant are what is needed in Florida. I have 12 varieties now and looking for more.
