I made a database, and for each orchid I have fields for photo; name; date received; where I got it from; and a field for notes where I can place other details eg medium planted in; first bloom. For those that havenever flowered yet I place a photo of my plant with an inset of the pic of what it should look like-I do that using Paint Shop Pro. It works for me.
