Depends on what kind of dendrobium it is
Can you post a picture & do they have tags in the pots with a name on them? Usually big box stores don't sell rare orchids, there are many scented orchids and dendrobiums. Occasionally you might find some good hybrids at big box stores for a decent price but in my experience most big box stores sell a mish mash of unregistered hybrids or untagged orchids. If you could post a picture of it that would help us identify what type of dendrobium it is
