Hi Janet,

Thanks for doing this bit of research. I'm sort of raising my eyebrows and shaking my head in disbelief. I should know the way of English colloquialisms by now, having lived in the US and now living in Australia. I've experienced more than a few embarassing moments as a result. I'm suprised it got past the folks at RHS who register the names. Maybe the breeder just got lucky and their application was read by someone who has led a sheltered life. It's one for the joke books I guess.

By the way, the colloquialism in question here exists in Australia too.
