Okay, so as with us all, i couldn't resist the urge to add another plant to my collection. Alright, it is a dendrobium with vigourous new growth and great blooms. It was potted in moss and when i got it home had the feeling i would see rot, boy was i right, it was saturated with dead roots. The latest new growth though had blooms on it and many roots growing right above the surface of the saturated moss. I repotted in bark, but can you guys tell me why the leaves on some of the canes look yellowish, mottled? My guess is too much water and temp fluctuation.
