reference:
this is a long one
well, my orchid really isn't looking too hot, the mother plant is starting to turn yellow (eventhough it's still firm? the leaves are turning more and more yellow and they eventually get floppy and fall off, and the stalk is turning yellow very slightly from the top down), and i'm beginning to think that separating the keiki might be the best thing to do, because i really think this plant is on its way out.
how does one go about doing this? the roots are everywhere and i have no idea when i should detach it, let alone how. it doesn't seem like i could get anything sharp under there to cut it away? i really want to salvage part of this plant.
