You taught me something new today. I have read about nobile versus the phal type of dens but apparantly it didn't register until you mentioned it. These are the phal type dens with the spikes growing out of the tops of the canes. While the four buds closest to the cane died, the next two or three are holding their own and opening up. I'm a bit more optimistic that the remaining buds will hold on. More notes for my notebook. Thank you. Winterwhite |
