Thanks for the reply. I've been away. Here are some pictures that may help figure out my problems. First pic - is this plant ok. Sec pic - black Hawaiian fungus a local orchid person said the plant had. Said it was common. Third pic - the dead bloom. Fourth pic - dead bloom showing root - is the root ok. some orange going on. Fifth pic - kind of spindley and this represents how my vandas are potted. As you can see from the last picture, I live in SW fla with a lot of sun. I keep the orchids in a screened in porch, facing north but do not put them in direct sun. I bring them in when the temp is going to get lower than 60. Temp range can be 90 to 60. Not in one day of course. High 90+ in the summer, 60 in winter. I have had most of the orchids two years. Some just one year. I have 14.
