It's been a while, but I recall that some of them were blooming when I received them. I don't think they need a dry period, but next Fall I am going to try exposing them to cooler nighttime temps. Some have new growths now, so I will keep on trying. The Seller recommended a bloom boosting fertilizer, so I will try that too. Thanks for your help, arleneg. Liz
