Dockrillia linguiforme Question

Would you set this onto another larger branch as it looks like it is out growing it's present one ?

If so, how do you go about transplanting a plant like this ?

I don't want to destroy the root system.

There is a lot of sentimentality with this plant, it was grown by my father who grew orchids and died 23 years ago. The last time it flowered was on the day of his funeral, he had waited 10 years for it to flower, pity he didn't live to appreciate it.

So, Don't want to compromise it in any way.

Not sure whether it is being looked after carefully, but it has lived this long, so .................
