Cattleya question I got a blooming Blc.Edisto with 9 pseudo bulbs in a single row, all of them having its leaf. when the bloom was gone in October I divided /re-potted it. I cut off the last 3, with one living root and potted up. Shortly after, a bud appeared. The bigger part of the rhizome, with 6 pseudo-bulbs (having already a bud at the base of the third youngest ps.bulb) developed a lot of new roots and a second bud at the oldest ps.bulb. The roots keep on growing beautifully, but I can't see any new growth from the youngest ps.bulb, and all the other buds are stagnant. Is that OK, just I'm short of patience...or something is going wrong ? Aniko. |
