| Sharyn, I try to answer your questions though I am also a beginner in catts.
1. The new growth usually appears at the base of the last pseudo bulb and initially looks like a bud.
2. There are 2 types of catt.: with 1 leaf/ps.bulb and 2 leaves/ps.bulb.
3. Dried sheaths can hide living buds.I think is better to wait.
4.Re potting earlier than the proper time: when roots start growing from the new growth - will set back the plant.I think the hard medium is not a problem, try to push the skewer after watering.
5.As about fertilizing - I do it from time to time. |
